Elizabethtown Community Hospital (ECH), which first opened in 1926, is a Critical Access Hospital located in Essex County, New York, part of the Adirondack Region. The hospital serves 17,000 full time residents of Essex County as well as several thousand seasonal residents and visitors.
An Emergency Room providing 24-hour care is at the heart of ECH’s commitment to the community.
Other services include:
- a 25-bed inpatient unit providing acute care, subacute rehabilitative care and long term care
- full laboratory services
- radiology services including CAT scan, mammography, bone density, echocardiograms and ultrasound
- physical therapy services provided on an in or out- patient basis
ECH also operates health centers in Elizabethtown and Westport, NY as well as housing a VA Clinic and contracting for kidney dialysis services.
